Diamond Candle Review

Hey guys !
So I am going to review for you a Diamond Candle.
I heard about these and thought they were a really cool idea and had to get my hands on one. Diamond Candle is a company that makes these huge 21 oz candles and in each candle there is a foil packet with a tiny baggy in it that holds a ring. The rings can be valued anywhere from $10 to $5000.
The regular price of these is somewhere in the $25 range and you have to pay shipping as well so I was definitely hesitant to buy one not knowing if I would like it enough or not. I waited around and found a deal on a website called www.sneakpeeq.com. They were offering a $10 credit to new members and when I signed up I also got free shipping. My total price came out to about $14. I had to wait a few weeks to get it which was kind of lame but it finally came and I was really excited ! I started burning it right away. The scent that I got was called Summer Time and honestly I am not a fan of the smell. It is like a laundry detergent/fresh linen smell and I am much more of a berries scent kinda girl but tha'ts okay, I didn't have the choice to pick the scent. If you order them from the actual website you can choose your own scent though.
I am not sure how long I had to burn the candle before the foil package became visible but I would estimate about 4 hours. I grabbed some needle nose pliers and grabbed the package in the wax and pulled it out. These candles are soy so they burn differently than your regular wax candles and I really like how as the candle burns down the jar that it is in seems to just stay pretty clean so after it is empty I can easily wash and reuse it.
When I first saw my ring I didn't really like it but now that I have been wearing it it has grown on me. It fits my ring finger perfectly.
The other cool thing about these candles is that there is a facebook page where people who dont like the rings they got can go and swap with one another. I think that these are excellent gifts for any occasion and I plan on using them as gifts in the future as well as buying more for myself. :P

Talk about slacking

haha. I am so not great at updating a blog. Things have been super busy around here with work and back to school and everything in between. I have still been doing freebies and my mailbox has been full daily which is nice.
I haven't been keeping up on the pics really but I have a whole small laundry basket full of samples.
Some new things that have happened .... I won a sweepstakes on www.poshly.com and they sent me a full size bottle of Clear shampoo and conditioner. I also was entered into the Clear shampoo and conditioner review at www.shespeaks.com and they sent me a full size bottle of each as well. I am going to write a review on the product for you guys. :D
I was chosen for my first Bzzagent campaign which said that it shipped the 17th so I am expecting it to get here today. I am doing the Unreal candy campaign and cant wait to see if it really tastes as good as the candy with all the bad stuff haha.
I also bought a Diamond Candle because I got it for half off and free shipping and I really wanted to try it out because it sounded so cool ! I am going to do a review for you guys on that as well.
Feel free to send me pics of the cool free stuff that you have gotten or ask me any questions !

Sunday Funday :P

So since there is no mail on Sunday I have decided that I will make Sundays my day to post all of my freebies that I get during the week. This week was okay.

First thing that came was this card that had the New York Yankees scents for men and women inside so you could test them both out. I liked them but I wouldn't buy it just because I'm more into fruity scents.

Also got this cool ring sizing kit. It comes on one big card thing and you push out the different ring sizes and try them on to measure your fingers. Worked well for me because I couldn't remember my ring size. haha.

I went and picked up my free 2 oz Bath and Body Works lotion today also. They e mailed you a coupon for liking them on facebook and you could show it in the store using your phone which was awesome.

I also got a free 2 page kids activity book that was The Lorax for Lydia and she has since demolished it.
I got a free $7 off coupon for Tena which sells adult diapers. I, of course, do not need these but I will give them to someone who can use them.
I got a rather large packet of free BiPro Whey Protein.
ANNNDDD my personal favorite from this week was FREE Dutch Brothers coffee !!! mmmmm !!
We finally got one here in Sacramento and they did a grand opening and gave away all of their drinks free from 5 a.m. to 11p.m.. I <3 me some Dutch.

Product Review:Dyson Animal Vacuum

Okay .... So I am a residential home cleaner and I use a ton of different vacuums. We have a bissell Shark I believe it is that we use most often, some green monstrosity that I cant recall the name of, and my own home vacuum which is a really old hoover that has bags haha. My regular client owns a Dyson ball vacuum and I'm not sure which one it is but I do know that it was my first experience with a Dyson and I was not at all impressed.
Yesterday I went to a clients home and ended up using her vacuum. It is a Dyson Animal vacuum and I immediately fell in love !
After the initial figuring out of how to work the attachments and hose it was a breeze. This persons home had a mix of hardwood, carpet, and tile and they had animals so there were furballs to be found all over the place. I started out using the attachment hose and when I put the hose to the ground the suction was so powerful I had to go find my coworker and have her try it out haha. There was loose animal hairs and hairballs that were inches from the hose and the suction drew the hair to the vacuum like a magnet.
I also used this without the attachment and it had a bare floor and a carpet setting. I used both and was definitely impressed with how it sucked everything from the cracks of the tiles on bare floor setting and then on the carpet where there was hair stuck to the carpet it sucked it right up and there was no fight. The canister is also really large so you wont have to empty it as often as you might with a different bagless vacuum.
I must say that I would recommend this vacuum to anyone and I would love to own one myself ... if the price wasn't $650. One day .... haha ... One day.

Listia. com

Have you guys heard of Listia.com ?
If you like the free section of Craigslist then this site is for you. It's pretty much the free section of Craigslist with a twist ... you get free things by bidding on them with points that you earn. They give you 500 credits to start with when you sign up and you build them up from there by listing auctions of your own and following the sites prompts to do things like watch a video for some extra points.
I have listed a few auctions so far but they have not been bid on and I am thinking this is because I didn't offer a shipping option I only listed it for local pick up. I decided to try another listing today which I jut started. It seems that the fifty shades of grey books are really popular and I am not really enjoying it so I listed it and put that I would ship it free. We will see how that goes.
So pretty much you find things that you like and if you have the points you bid on them and if you win then you get whatever it is. There are three ways to get your free item. Pay attention when you bid because it will say that it is local pickup only, free shipping, or you will have to pay a certain shipping amount through paypal.
The site also has a rewards store section where people who are giving things can list a get it now amount of credits and you can bypass the auction process by spending that amount of credits for the item.
You can get credits in different ways as well. It seems like listing auctions is the main way but you can also go to the section called get credits and it will give you a bunch of options like inviting your friends, buying credits, or taking trusted surveys.
I am still fairly new to this site as well but I will keep you guys updated on it. :D
